Hi - I hope you all had a good week and managed to get some crafting done!
This week I have a card to show you that I made in a workshop run by my best mate Eileen Godwin. We did this some time ago but I loved it so much I have made quite a few since.
It involved stamping an image using Versamark then using Distress Inks with your fingers!! It was good fun but I must admit since then I have been using a paintbrush. The "yellow/green" shade is not one I use very often but I must admit it does look really nice with the purple.
I am off to a workshop tomorrow with Karen Clare and really looking forward to it.
Enjoy the weekend.

Valentine's Card
Hi Everyone, another week over already and I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day.
Today I would like to show you the card I made my Husband.
I used the lovely Memory Box Die, Heart of Hearts and Marianne Design French Cats. So cute!
A simple card to make but very versatile. Hope you like it.
Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by. Kx

Not the Martini Girl Again?!
Hi Everyone and I hope you are all safe and well on this very wet and windy day.
Ok so I know I have made several cards with this image but isn't that a good thing? How many of us have bought stamps (and paid a lot for them) and only ever used them once or even (I confess) not used them at all (yet)!
I had to share this one with you as it was for my niece's 21st birthday and she was so pleased with it (and her present of a Mercedes 4x4 experience) that I wanted to post it.
Photography not great as the colours work much nicer together in real life than they do here but I am sure you get the idea. Here is a close up of the Martini girl.
I promise I will not impose her on you again (well for at least a year) as I cannot think of any more occasions I can use her for the moment!
Thank you so much for popping by and leaving a comment, it really makes my day. Kx

There will be a draw at the end of the month and the winner will receive a £20 voucher to spend on the Lavinia Stamps web shop - HOW FAB IS THAT!
Here are my samples for the month:
This is a MDF shape which I painted with Lilac Chalk acrylic then stamped over with Fairy Words in Distress Ink Salty Ocean and added a few Miniature Hearts with DI Faded Jeans. I then stamped the lovely Flower Fairy on with Metallic Purple and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
My second sample:

My second sample:
I blended Distress Inks Faded Jeans and Shaded Lilac for the background of this one after first putting my circle mask down for the moon. I then stamped with salty ocean with Dandilions2, vine and field grass. After that I layered with lilac and blue card and added some tulle and a jewel which I mounted on card.
Hope you like my samples and thank you so much for looking.
Have a great weekend. Kx
